Understanding OfS Registration Requirements - Create a Quality Plan

Join us for an expert-led session as part of our series aimed at helping independent providers understand the Office for Students’ (OfS) registration requirements. This session is designed to equip independent higher education providers with the knowledge and tools to develop their own Quality Plan. The session will provide practical insights, guiding providers through the process of drafting a clear and evidence-based plan required as part of their OfS registration application. It will break down the requirements, highlight best practices, and share helpful tips to consider, with opportunities for questions.
The session will cover:

• Why the OfS requires a Quality Plan and what it means for different types of independent providers
• How to draft your Quality Plan, including key reference documents and supporting evidence
• Section-by-section guidance on Conditions B1 (Academic Experience), B2 (Resources, Support & Student Engagement), and B4 (Assessment & Awards) and how these relate to initial conditions B7 and B8.
• Practical tips and Q&A

This session is open to IHE Members and non-members who are providers of higher education.
