Planning partnership changes during OfS registration

Join us for this expert-led session with Pinsent Masons as part of our series supporting independent providers preparing for OfS registration. This session explores how to plan and manage changes to academic partnership arrangements at the same time as submitting an OfS application.
Whether you are moving from franchise to validation with a current partner, changing or adding an awarding provider, or planning to exit validation as part of a journey toward degree awarding powers, the session will outline how to structure and sequence these changes effectively. With some providers choosing to shift to validation models ahead of planned registration submissions prior to the DfE’s 30 June deadline, this session will highlight what the OfS expects and how to evidence stability during transition.

The session will cover:

• Key considerations when partnership changes occur during an OfS application
• How to plan and sequence transitions between models
• Risks, mitigations, and practical steps to demonstrate continuity and academic integrity
• Q&A with legal and regulatory experts from Pinsent Masons
