Join us for the opening session of IHE Industry Week, a series of events exploring how independent higher education providers can support the UK’s skills needs and contribute to economic growth.
The session will begin with an overview of the key findings and recommendations from IHE's Industry and Skills project, followed by a panel discussion exploring the implications for providers, employers and policymakers.
Together, we will examine the opportunities and challenges emerging from the government's skills and growth agenda, and consider how independent higher education can play a stronger role in meeting workforce needs across priority sectors.
This opening plenary will set the context for the week ahead, introducing themes that will be explored in greater depth through a series of sector-focused roundtables and our closing session.
Panel members to be confirmed.
Target audience: IHE Members, employers, policymakers and sector stakeholders with an interest in skills development, workforce planning and economic growth.
